Information for Foreign Students in Zimbabwe Getting There Harare International Airport has a number of international flights, mainly to other African countries. 
When coming from Europe you can fly directly with Air Zimbabwe from London. Air Zimbabwe also operates to Dubai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Kuala Lumpur in Asia. 
However, a good option is to fly with South African Airways or Airlink  via Johannesburg. 
SAA operates to quite a few European airports and has many flights to South Africa and other African destinations. 
When coming from South Africa you can also use the no-frills airline Kulula.com. 
KLM offer flights from Amsterdam via Nairobi which continue on to Lusaka from Harare.

Money Currency used in Zimbabwe is the US Dollar, although the South African rand and the Euro are also widely accepted. The use of credit cards is still very limited; also, ATM use can be very limited for non-citizens.

Cost of Living :
Local goods are quite cheap, but imported goods such as Coke are similar to prices in South Africa.


Consular Assistance : The Zimbabwean consulate can assist with consular services to Zimbabwean citizens. This service encompasses, render support in the case of an accident, the case of death, and arrange for next of kin to be informed, facilitate during emergency situations such as civil disturbances and natural disasters and furthermore witness and certify signatures and provide certain other notarial and legal services, for which fees are payable. 

Zimbabwean Passport : Zimbabwean citizens could also get the Zimbabwean passport application form and procedures to submit an application for Zimbabwean passport or travel documents by speaking with the Zimbabwean Embassy in London. 

Zimbabwean Visa : The Zimbabwean Embassies and Consular Offices are the only Competent Zimbabwean Government Agencies, who are allowed to issue Zimbabwean visas in another country. any risks which might arise when boarding flights or at Zimbabwean ports of entry due to possible miscommunication, travellers are strongly recommended to apply with the Zimbabwean Embassy and Consular Offices in United Kingdom to get Zimbabwean visas before travelling.

  4.     Certified /Notarized copy of your valid passport.
  5.     Certified /Notarized copies of all relevant degrees, diplomas, certificates and transcripts earned to date.
  6.     Personal letter of motivation, stating your career objectives and the reasons behind your decision to apply (250 words).
  7.     Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources.
  8.     Two passport-size photographs. Taken against a light colored (white, off-white etc.) background. Clear and good quality and not framed or blocked, printed on normal photographic paper. Full face without sunglasses, hat or other head covering unless for cultural or religious reasons.
  9.     Bank Statement (Proof of means of financial support not fewer than €150. per month for the intended period of stay in Lithuania).
  10.     Student File documents.
  11.     Sponsor’s source of income documents.
  12.     Sponsor’s Identity copy (Passport/National ID)
  13.     Health insurance.
  14.     Forwarding letter from Sponsor.
  15.     One-way Air Ticket confirmation.
