Bangladeshi nationals who are permitted to enter metropolitan France for a short visit, are allowed to enter Monaco without a visa. Bangladeshi nationals who hold a residence permit issued by a Schengen State are also authorized to enter and stay in Monaco. Holders of a valid Schengen visa covering France or a visa with limited territorial validity (LTV) for France are permitted to enter and stay in Monaco. Holders of a Schengen visa should be in a position to produce documents in support of the purpose and conditions of their visit to Monaco.

The procedure for applying for a short-stay visa for Monaco follows the same conditions and rules applicable to the Schengen visa.

Long-stay visa:

All long-stay visas are subject to prior consultations with the Monegasque authorities. No reason is assigned for rejected visa applications. For this one should apply to the France Embassy in India.

 Check List

1. color photographs (full face, no dark glasses, no head covering, plain white background only)
2. Valid passport (the validity of the passport has to exceed the end of the proposed trip by at least three months)
3. Clear photocopy of your passport data page (identification page)
4. Travel Health Insurance (to cover medical expenses at minimum of 30,000–Euro)
5. All documents have to be accompanied with the original document and one photocopy

For Business Visa:

Original invitation letter from a company

Proof of sufficient foreign funds (bank statements for the past three months)

Certificate of Incorporation of the company in Bangladesh and/or Memorandum and Articles of Association (if applicable)

Evidence of former and current transactions in Bangladesh and/or abroad (e.g. bills of lading, receipts, contracts)

Proof of personal living conditions marriage certificate, birth certificate of children (if applicable)

Covering letter/introduction letter from the company or organization in Bangladesh explaining necessity to travel even if the applicant is the owner of the company

For Tourist Visa:

1. Guarantor’s form/Formal Obligation signed by the host/ess and duly legalized by the aliens authority in Switzerland or proof of sufficient foreign funds
2. Proof of personal living conditions: marriage certificate, birth certificate of children (if applicable)
3. Hotel booking (if applicable) – not mail-printout
4. Additional, if employed by a company here in Bangladesh.
5. Leave letter of employer (with physical address and telephone number) stating the duration of leave and the function/profession of the applicant in the company
6. Pay slips of the last three months
7. Statement of private bank account of the last three months

For Transit Visa:

1. Valid visas for all other countries of destination after leaving the Schengen territory.
2. Confirmed reservation of flight
3. For first time travelers: Complete business papers (see above)
